Extremely R A R E Heubach figure of a beautiful young lady dressed in a diaphanous long flowing naughty nightgown, which was considered quite daring in Victorian Times, especially seeing as how it's translucent ~ one can see the outline of her breasts, nipples, navel, stomach, thighs, legs, knees, et al (unfortunately my camera couldn't quite capture it all; it's 100% better in person, every single detail stands out) ~ exquisitely modeled with intaglio eyes & realistic features (as mentioned above) & expertly handpainted to perfection with nicely blushed cheeks & rosey red lipstick to complement her peaches & cream fair complexion, unmarked but guaranteed to be Heubach, circa 19th century, 9.5" tall, excellent vintage condition with a repair to three of the fingers on her right hand, a little wear to her left knee, and an insignificant sliver off the inside of each sleeve, totally unnoticeable but nevertheless mentioned for accuracy.
FYI: in the 10 years I've been on the internet I've honestly only seen ths particular figure come up for sale *once* on a Live Auction a few years ago, that's how rare she is, as well as the other Heubach figure she was being sold with at the time (other representing Winter, which tells me that she may represent Summer?). As regards the Winter Heubach Figure, whom looks like the same lady as this one, she can be found on page 74 of Mary Morrison's BIG BOOK of SNOW BABIES, priced at $1000+ (she too is also unmarked but identified as Heubach).
***NOTE: I just now included a picture from the aforementioned book, as Mary Morrison is a friend of mine & gave me permission a long time ago to use any of her pictures in her books for use on the 'net, as it is illegal to post pictures from books without the author's approval.***
***SALE ~ 50% OFF ~ PRICE INCLUDES F-R-E-E SHIPPING VIA PARCEL POST WITH INSURANCE & DELIVERY CONFIRMATION (USA ONLY)!***
